Anyone who deals with collections in Algeria knows that it is not an easy task, so what is the secret of Bernadette’s success?
Bernadette has developed a very successful collections strategy for several countries in the Middle East. Her ability to communicate with the debtors in several languages, including English, French and Arabic, and her undoubted gift of successful negotiation are just a few of the reasons that make her collection strategy so effective.
Bernadette’s firm but amicable manner with the debtor, and her willingness to listen to the debtor and try and reach a settlement that is fair and viable for our client is very much apparent.
Large claims are usually not an easy collection prospect in any country, and are often a result of a dispute or misunderstanding, but Bernadette has yet again managed to work her magic with a claim of USD 1.7 million in Algeria.
Bernadette made a personal visit to the debtor’s premises which was situated about 30 km from Algiers, and after a long discussion was able to arrange a very acceptable instalment plan. Three instalments of over USD 300.000 were received by our client within two months of our receipt of the collection order, and the balance is expected to be fully repaid within the next month.
